Saturday. Blog updates + Pattern experimentation

Been slow on updating my blog recently cause I’m working on my new portfolio site and loads other wee things that I need to get done , but here is a quick post of what i’m up to, just keep experimenting and working on new designs. I’m Really loving these markers one of my favourites right now, whats your preference when choosing markers ? Ohh By the way I got great news that some of my designs will be included in two new pattern books that will be released this Spring. I really can’t wait and hope everything goes to plan. The Coolness from London @ Mados Infekcija after party

Some photographs from Mados infekcija afterparty at Loftas , where I met The COOLNESS and took some photographs of their band, really talented guys, not only the music was really catchy and I honestly loved every tune but the show was just as amazing and you should check them out even the styling it self was really eye catching and unique!

The Whip: graphics and video for songs Trash & Muzzle no1

Some experimental graphics and intro video for  The Whip,  band from England that formed in 2006. All graphics based on two of their songs,’Trash’ and ‘Muzzle No1′, I’m not really experienced with animations videos and all that, but I had this idea and wanted to try and see what happens! You can let me know what you think :)

Creative video for new track ‘Wanderland’ by Hermanos Inglesos

Belgian animator Kristof has a great showreel – the newest bit is her video for Hermanos Inglesos’ new track, ‘Wanderland’, an animal escapade featuring a lot of birds and a couple of randy unicorns. Be sure to check out his vimeo for loads more stuff. It’s really inspiring and great, and I also like the song.

Working on it

This is something i’m working on at the moment  in one of my previous briefs I mentioned about Student awards brief we had to pick in university and this is something i’m working on at the moment. Still more than 2 weeks till the final deadline, and i’m really excited to see what the final outcomes will look like, even though there is still A LOT to do, a lot of research to be done, but its all good and I really enjoy this project.

Crazy Weird Lunatic Stop motion animation I made UH OH! (I’m not on drugs)

Lol Hello, one day I was in uni with my friend Gareth and we were making animations for one of the projects, it was then when I decided to walk away and started recording this crazy stop motion animation…Now I look back at it and it makes me laugh of what was going on in my head then. As my mate said it looks like i’m tripping in the library on some kind of drugs or whatever haha but yeah there you go hope you enjoy it cause I sure did! lol
